Responding to the allegations, the Vice-Chancellor of Fakir Mohan University presented a different version of events. He claimed that some officials accompanying the visiting team were allegedly under the influence of alcohol and behaved inappropriately on the campus premises. They were accused of creating a disturbance, blowing whistles, and using objectionable language even during dinner.

Drunk Drama Alleged

“During dinner time, seven of the officials came drunk. Three of them sped into the campus on a motorbike when the students were enjoying, clicking pictures and dancing together. Being officers, they were misbehaving with young girls. So, we threw them out of the campus,” informed Fakir Mohan University Vice-Chancellor Santosh Kumar Tripathy.

University authorities further stated that the visiting team had an early morning train scheduled at 6 AM. They reportedly continued their protest outside the campus throughout the night before eventually leaving for their destination.

The incident has sparked discussion over coordination and management during inter-university events.
