Bhubaneswar: God could not be everywhere so he created mothers to take care of others. Perhaps, they in their ultimate form can make unparalleled contributions, be it professional or personal, keeping aside their self-priorities to ensure the safety of common people.

Subhashree Bhavani Nayak who is posted as a Sub-Inspector in Malkangiri police station has proved how only a woman can embrace the role of a mother and a daughter despite being on the frontlines in the fight against the prevailing Covid pandemic.

A few days ago, the lady cop was seen feeding a needy mentally challenged woman on the streets during lockdown in Malkangiri, what in true terms is a reflection of Indian society and culture. The act went viral on social media garnering praises from all around.

One of the many whose hearts melted at the scene, was Megastar Chiranjeevi who took up to social media to express his happiness and lauded the efforts of the lady cop from Odisha.

Coincidentally since it was mother’s day, Chiranjeevi could not help sharing a few moments of him in gratitude to the lady sub inspector on the special occasion.

The Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy star poured his heart out in a tweet saying, “Even in the most challenging situations, there is no lockdown to the motherly instincts. Saluting all the Mothers in the world. Behind all our stories, there is always our mother's story. Because that is where we all begin.”

He even shared a video of his online conversation with Subhashree on his twitter account. Quoting the incident as very heart touching, Chiranjeevi could be seen in the video saying Subhashree that he had been trying to talk to her to express his gratitude and appreciation the way she responded as a human being. “I could see a compassionate mother in you and it is an inspiration for lot of people,” he said.

Subhashree said that when she offered food to the elderly woman, she even could not take it in her own hand because she was physically challenged.

“Not only in case of law and order, but you have to be very responsible wherever someone needs you and in doing what I did is the real reward for me,” she said while speaking to Chiranjeevi.

Subhashree also could not hide her excitement during her conversation with The Gentleman actor and expressed that she is a big fan of him. "Apart from being a megastar you are a social worker and I am big fan of you," she said.

Meanwhile, Malkangiri SP thanked Chiranjeevi for the motivating gesture and said that it will boost the morale of the police force in these testing times.

It may be noted that Subhashree’s act of kindness has also earned her admiration from Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik and ADGP Arun Sarangi.
