Man slips from train, RPF Constable comes to his rescue

Bhubaneswar: A Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable’s prompt response saved the life of a passenger who fell between the platform and a moving train while getting down at Bhubaneswar Railway Station.

The entire incident was captured on CCTV, a video of which has gone viral on social media.

In the video, one Nazir Mallik can be seen trying to get off the departing Bhubaneswar-Bhadrak MEMU Passenger Train. During the attempt, Mallik loses control and slips between the train and platform.

Later, the constable N B Rao, who was present at the spot, immediately rushes to Mallik’s help and saves his life.

Meanwhile, Rao is being praised by many people for his alertness after the video went viral on social media today. Mallik is reportedly a resident of Purba Medinipur area in West Bengal.
