Bhubaneswar: Senior IPS officer Arun Bothra has been given additional charge of Chief Managing Director (CMD) of Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) in a major bureaucratic reshuffle effected by the Odisha government today.

Bothra, a 1996 batch IPS officer, got the additional charge as the OSRTC CMD in addition to his duty as the chief executive officer (CEO) of Central Electricity Supply Utility (CESU) and Managing Director (MD) of Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT).

Similarly, Pradipta Kumar Mohaptra, the Agriculture Production Commissioner (APC) of Odisha has been given the additional charge of Revenue & Disaster Management Department.

As per the official notification, Nikunja Bihari Dhal has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of Health and Family Welfare Department. Dhal was working as the Principal Secretary of Revenue & DM Department.

Similarly, Pramod Meherda has been appointed as the Commissioner-cum-Secretary of Commerce & Transport Department with additional charge of special Secretary of Agriculture & FE Department.

Yeddula Vijay has been made the Deputy Secretary of Planning and Convergence Department. Vijay was serving as the Commissioner of Rourkela Municipal Corporation with additional charge of CEO, Rourkela Smart City Limited and Member Finance, RDS.

Dibya Jyoti Parida, Deputy Secretary of Health and Family Welfare Department with additional charge of Officer On Special Duty (OSD) National Health Mission (NHM) has been appointed Commissioner of Rourkela Municipal Corporation and has also been given the additional charge of CEO, Rourkela Smart City Limited.
