The 45-minute light and sound presentation narrates the rich history, architectural brilliance, and cultural legacy of the Sun Temple in a visually compelling format. Using advanced lighting, crisp audio, and atmospheric effects, the show is designed to bring alive the stories behind the construction, symbolism, and enduring heritage of the Konark Sun Temple, often hailed as the Black Pagoda.

Speaking at the inauguration, Deputy CM Pravati Parida said the upgrade marks a significant improvement from the earlier system.

"The project has been developed at a cost of more than Rs 6 crore. Earlier, it could be heard through earphone only. But now, the project is openly audible and it has been made with great narratives. Earlier, a show was meant for only 200 audiences. However, the state-of-the-art facility can accommodate around 300 tourists per show now," said Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida.
