“The incident has occurred not once, or twice but thrice. The way the mother of the deceased student was giving her statement, it was evident that the authorities had not taken up the matter seriously. As these kinds of incidents are regularly happening, stern actions should be taken against the employees involved in it. It is the responsibility of the authorities of the university and then the State government to provide security to the students,” said Congress MLA Ashok Das.
