Reports suggest the student was allegedly gang raped inside a classroom, with suspicions that the assault may have occurred in the science laboratory during recess.

The female teacher is alleged to have assisted the others in the incident. Sources further indicated that the student was threatened regarding her younger brother, who also studies at the same school in Class 2.

School Response And Suppression Allegations

The student reportedly stopped attending school for over a month. It was alleged that the principal was aware of the incident and attempted to suppress it.

Background Of The Case

The matter first came to light when the victim’s mother submitted a written complaint to the Kendrapara District Child Welfare Committee (CWC). Taking the allegation seriously, the CWC visited the school premises, examined the surroundings, and initiated inquiries.
