Javadekar meets BJP workers in Berhampur
Berhampur: BJP leader and Union Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar today visited Berhampur and met party workers to discuss plans for 2019 general elections.
“We have started preparations for 2019 Lok Sabha elections. I have been given the charge of four Lok Sabha constituencies–Bhubaneswar, Puri, Berhampur, and Nabarangpur. I will take stock of the situation and we will definitely win,” said Javadekar, who is on a 3-day Odisha visit.
After reaching Bhubaneswar yesterday, Javadekar clarified that many other parties like the ruling-BJD in Odisha had supported BJP’s candidate for Rajya Sabha deputy chairperson post but they are not part of the NDA.
Taking a dig at the Congress which has been alleging a secret alliance between the BJP and the BJD following the Rajya Sabha deputy chairman election, Javadekar said “If one doesn’t get something, it becomes sour grapes.”
