Humane Sagar’s death case: Mother Shefali Suna files FIR, seeks probe into conspiracy, financial irregularities and other aspects

Shefali Suna, mother of Ollywood singer Humane Sagar, on Sunday lodged a formal complaint at the Markat Nagar police station in Cuttack, demanding a detailed investigation into her son’s suspicious death. According to Shefali Suna, her son allegedly faced mistreatment and undue pressure before his demise. 

She has reportedly urged authorities to investigate all possible causes, including negligence, abuse, coercion, poisoning, and the administration of intoxicating substances. Suna also highlighted suspicions of potential conspiracies, financial irregularities, and destruction of digital evidence that may have complicated the circumstances surrounding Humane Sagar’s death.

The complainant emphasised that the exact cause of her son’s death remains unclear and demanded a thorough forensic and post-mortem examination to ascertain the facts. 

Earlier, several local organisations had filed complaints against the singer’s managers, demanding a thorough investigation into the circumstances leading up to his death. Similarly, on November 26, filmmaker Jitu Raut lodged a formal complaint at Cuttack Madhupatna Police Station, seeking a high-level probe into the singer’s financial dealings and professional management.

The FIR alleged that income earned by Humane Sagar may have been siphoned off and that individuals handling his career may have ignored his deteriorating condition.

Raut stated that he acted based on concerns shared by the singer’s family, including his mother, who reportedly mentioned names such as Dinesh, Arpita, and Prashant. He added that decisive action was necessary to bring clarity to the financial and medical issues raised after Humane’s passing.
