As evening descends, the glittering illumination, the calls of vendors, and the joyous hum of lakhs of visitors create a mesmerising scene.
Among the many attractions this year, a new experience has caught everyone’s attention — the Kansa Thali Foot Massage. Designed especially for those exhausted from exploring the massive fairgrounds, the service offers a soothing relief for just Rs 99.
Visitors are enthusiastically taking advantage of this unique relaxation zone amidst the vibrant chaos of the fair. The blend of heritage, commerce, and comfort makes the Bali Yatra a truly unforgettable experience for people of all ages.
“I am really enjoying. It is a new concept. I had taken this massage outside (the State). I am happy that it is now available in Cuttack. Definitely, it is relaxing,” a male visitor said.
A brass plate in the massager has a number of acupressure points on it. When the plate rotates at a slow pace, the points massage one’s foot and give relaxation.
“Through this massage, toxins present in the human body are being removed. Hence, the customers are getting relief from muscle cramps and foot aches. Over three hundred persons have availed this massage service in nearly three days,” the stall owner stated.
For the first time, I had seen this in Berhampur (Ganjam district). The trader had procured the massage machine from Gujarat. Hundreds of people are coming to Bali Yatra and getting tired. Hence, I thought of this new trade,” the stall owner added.
