The force of the collision caused engine oil to spill from the SUV, while the motorcycle was completely mangled. Following the crash, the driver of the Thar allegedly fled the scene, sparking anger among local residents.

Capital police later seized the Thar SUV and launched a search operation to trace the absconding driver. Police officials said a case has been registered and an investigation is underway. CCTV footage from nearby areas is being examined to identify the driver, and further legal action will be taken based on the findings of the probe.
