The Chief Minister expressed confidence that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the Central Government will ensure a thorough investigation into the incident and bring the culprits to justice.

Following the explosion, Majhi held a telephonic conversation with the Director General of Police (DGP) and directed him to implement heightened security measures across Odisha. With major public gatherings such as Cuttack’s Bali Yatra festival underway, he instructed police personnel to remain on full alert.

The Chief Minister further ordered that security be intensified in major cities and sensitive areas, including religious sites, transport hubs, and crowded marketplaces. He emphasised that maintaining peace and public safety should be the top priority of law enforcement agencies in the wake of the Delhi blast.
