Cuttack-bound bus from Bolangir overturns in Nayagarh

A bus travelling from Bolangir to Cuttack overturned near Shitulia Sahi Chowk under the Gania police station area in Nayagarh district on Tuesday morning.

According to reports, the bus lost balance while on the road and overturned into a ditch on the roadside.

No Injuries Reported

There were more than 15 passengers on board at the time of the accident. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported so far, and all passengers are safe.

Police launch investigation

The Gania police reached the site promptly after being informed about the incident. They have launched an investigation into the circumstances that led to the bus overturning. Authorities are inspecting both the vehicle and the road conditions to determine the cause of the mishap.

Rescue operation to evacuate passengers

A rescue operation was carried out to safely evacuate all passengers from the bus. Traffic in the area is being managed to avoid any further disruption and ensure the safety of other commuters.
