While interacting with senior officials of Odisha Police including range DIGs, DCPs and SPs, Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik today appreciated the efforts of the police department for creating awareness and enforcing the lockdown.

Patnaik said that “There was so much restraint and dignified conduct in the whole process. My appeal for ‘Zero walking inside Odisha’ for inter-State migrants was implemented in letter and spirit,” said Patnaik.

Patnaik further lauded the good work done by ODRAF and Fire Services personnel in relief and restoration operations in West Bengal after cyclone Amphan.

“People at large saw ‘Human Face’ in police actions. We should carry forward this good work. The corona war is not yet over. We should be very alert and face the situation even more professionally at the same time with human face,” Patnaik added.
