Of six positive cases reported today in Odisha, four are from Puri while two cases were reported from Bolangir.

As informed by Puri collector Balwant Singh, two COVID-19 cases were reported from Puri town and one each from Pipili and Konark areas. Of the total cases in Puri, three in quarantine centres have been tested positive.

Similarly, Bolangir collector Arindam Dakua informed that two persons tested positive for novel-Coronavirus are Surat returnees. The total number of COVID cases in the district rises to 6, informed the collector.

Odisha government on Sunday informed that around 1,51,065 migrants returned to the State through various means, including train, bus, and other vehicles.  3,29,064 destitute and helpless persons have been provided with food in 4700 Gram Panchayats across the State.

The National Disaster Management Authority on Sunday directed the Centre, State governments to continue lockdown measures up to 31 May 2020.
