In a commendable act of bravery and presence of mind, two personnel of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) saved the life of a man at the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar on Friday, drawing widespread praise for their timely intervention.
According to reports, an employee of ILHBS, who was deployed at the airport screening point, suddenly collapsed and lost consciousness while on duty. Noticing the emergency, the CISF personnel present at the spot acted swiftly.
CISF jawan Dimple Kumar immediately administered Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) to the unconscious employee, successfully reviving him. Another CISF personnel, D.P. Gupta, assisted in the rescue operation and helped manage the situation until further medical help arrived.

Following the initial life-saving measures, the affected employee was rushed to the Capital Hospital, where he was admitted for further treatment. Doctors at Capital Hospital later praised the CISF personnel for their courage, alertness, and prompt action, stating that their timely CPR played a crucial role in saving the man’s life.
The heroic act has been widely appreciated, and the CISF has shared details of the incident through its official social media handles, highlighting the dedication and humanitarian service of its personnel beyond their regular security duties.
