The shocking murder of Odia YouTuber Rahul Maharana which unfolded on the night of February 28, 2026, has taken a chilling turn after a video recorded minutes before the fatal attack surfaced online. The footage captures what appears to be an ordinary, carefree evening moments before violence unfolded.

Final Moments Captured on Camera

In the video, Rahul is seen sitting with his friends Siba and Sachin inside the GGP Colony High School ground. The trio appeared relaxed and cheerful, unaware of the tragedy that lay ahead. According to reports, shortly after the recording, an argument allegedly broke out nearby where three youths were said to be consuming intoxicants.

Friends later recounted that the altercation escalated quickly. Rahul was allegedly stabbed in the chest by one of the accused, reportedly a jawan. Noticing blood, his friends rushed him to hospital, but the injuries proved fatal.

Arrests and Investigation

After the incident, Police have arrested three accused Sangram Keshari Behera alias Satura, along with his relatives Samarendra Behera alias Muna and Sangram Behera alias Kuna and produced them in court.

Meanwhile, Rahul’s wife Trisha, whom he married just four months ago, has alleged that the killing was premeditated, possibly linked to an earlier parking dispute. While police suggest sudden provocation may have triggered the violence, the family suspects a deeper conspiracy.
