BSF jawan killed, 5 injured in truck-car collision along Odisha-Andhra border

A fatal accident occurred on the Andhra Pradesh-Odisha border when a truck and a car collided head-on, resulting in the death of a BSF jawan and critical injuries to five others.

A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan was killed and five others sustained critical when a truck collided head-on with a car at Chintur, on the Andhra Pradesh-Odisha border, on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Gaurav Pandey of the 142nd Battalion of the BSF. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the collision to determine the cause of the accident, informed sources.
