A newlywed bride from Mursingh village under Deogaon Police Station in Odisha's Bolangir district allegedly ran away with her lover just two days after her wedding, prompting police action in Kantamal Police Station. The couple was later traced and taken into custody following a formal complaint filed by the husband.
The incident reportedly occurred in the Boudh district, where the bride had married Tilu Bhoi of Mursingh village on February 22 according to Vedic rituals. Despite the traditional wedding, she allegedly eloped with her lover, Subash Chandra Sahu of Kantamal, just two days later.
Bride Flees With Lover
According to official sources, Tilu Bhoi lodged a written complaint at Deogaon Police Station after learning about his wife’s elopement. The complaint detailed the circumstances and sought police intervention to locate and apprehend the couple.

Police Apprehend the Couple
