‘Sister Sridevi’ lives up to frenzy, gets mega response on opening day

Cuttack: Living up to the frenzy generated in the run up to its release, Tarang Cine Production’s eighth venture, ‘Sister Sridevi’ got an overwhelming response from moviegoers during its premiere today at the Jayshree Cinema Hall in Cuttack and Sriya in Bhubaneswar.

Lead actor Babushan’s craze swept the theatre as frenzied fans packed the auditorium to get a glimpse of the star in his all new on-screen female avatar. Foot-tapping numbers from the movie seemed too good to resist for the fans who jumped out of their seats to dance to the tunes even inside the theatre.

“The viewers have already given their thumbs-up to the movie. I would say that everyone should enjoy the movie during the upcoming Raja festivities,” said Babushan.

“This movie will definitely make everyone laugh. Apart from comedy and entertainment, the movie packs everything from romance to emotions,” said lead actress, Shivani.

Babushan is seen donning double role of a male and a female in the movie.

The female getup of Babushan was really entertaining, said one moviegoer while another was unable to hide his excitement over the ‘Naagin’ & ‘Chunni Tale Black Money’ numbers of the movie.

The movie has been directed by Ashok Pati, while Abhijit Majumdaar has lent music.

“The actor of the movie is also the actress which is quite new and innovative,” said Ashok.

‘Sister Sridevi’ was released today over 60 theatres across the State.
