Bhubaneswar: Odisha Human Rights Commission (OHRC) on Tuesday directed Dilip Constructions Pvt Ltd to pay an interim compensation of Rs 2.5 lakh to the family of Antaryami Guru, an electrician-cum-worker who was killed after the roof of the under-construction building at Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Bhubaneswar collapsed.

The Commission has also directed the construction agency to pay an interim compensation of Rs 50,000 to another person, who also sustained critical injuries in the mishap. The directions were issued based on the petition filed in connection with the collapse of the roof of an under-construction building connecting the international with domestic terminal at BPIA on January 25 night.
