Another young boy found dead in KISS, this time a Plus II student

In a shocking incident, a Plus II student was reportedly found dead under mysterious circumstances inside a hostel of the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) in Bhubaneswar on Friday.

According to preliminary reports, the body of the Plus Two(Arts) second-year student was found hanging in his hostel room on the campus premises. The incident has triggered shock and concern among fellow students and authorities.

Sources said the deceased student hailed from Nuapada district. After receiving information about the incident, police from Infocity Police Station reached the spot and recovered the body. The police have launched an investigation to ascertain the exact cause of death. The roommates of the deceased are being questioned about the incident.

Meanwhile, no official statement or reaction has been issued by the KISS authorities regarding the incident.

A few months ago, a Class IX student from Keonjhar was found dead at the KISS campus in Bhubaneswar. It was alleged the authorities tried to mislead the student’s parents, stating that the death had occurred due to diarrhoea.

However, the case later took a shocking turn when it was revealed that the student had been murdered. It was later learnt that he had been brutally killed by other students.

Later, allegations surfaced that the institution’s authorities had attempted to cover up the incident by misrepresenting the cause of death. Repeated death of students has once again triggered widespread outrage and concern, raising serious questions about student safety and accountability within educational institutions.
