A queue-based system for darshan at Puri Jagannath Temple will soon be implemented, according to Law Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan. The initiative aims to streamline temple management and enhance devotees’ experience by ensuring orderly, secure darshan. During his visit to Angul, the Minister confirmed that the process of relocating Hundi (donation boxes) from the temple premises has already begun.

Angul Town Police arrested eight armed dacoits near Hemasurapada Chhak, thwarting a planned highway robbery. Weapons, vehicles, and cash were seized.
