Abhijit Majumdar’s Health and Treatment 

Late August 2025

Abhijit Majumdar fell ill and was admitted to a private hospital in Cuttack after doctors detected serious health issues including low sodium levels. He was receiving treatment for multiple complications.

Early September 2025

September 3–4: Due to deterioration in his condition, Majumdar was shifted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar. He was placed in the ICU on ventilator support and was reported to be in a coma.

September 13, 2025

AIIMS authorities confirmed that his health remained critical. A medical team from multiple departments was involved in his care as he stayed on ventilator support.

September 21, 2025

He was taken off the ventilator, but remained in the ICU with his central nervous system still in critical condition despite vital organs functioning.
