Aliva Majhi, Excise Dept SI, said, “The vehicle tried to divert its way upon seeing us, so we pursued it and checked the car over suspicion. Upon investigating, we found two sacks of ganja loaded inside the car. Both the accused are from Kandhamal, and they were on their way to Aska.”

The seizure highlights ongoing efforts by law enforcement to curb the smuggling of illicit substances in the region. Officials are continuing investigations to trace the network behind the smuggling operation and identify any other individuals involved.
