3 killed in car accident on NH-53 bypass road in Odisha's Bargarh

At least three people were killed in a car accident that took place late last night in the Bargarh district of Odisha. 

As per reports, the car lost control and rammed into the road divider on the NH-53 bypass road in the district. The impact was so intense that it resulted in the death of three people.

Reportedly, the vehicle was traveling at high speed when the driver lost balance and hit the divider. The impact was so severe that the car was badly damaged, leaving the occupants trapped inside.

Local residents and police rushed to the spot soon after the crash. The bodies were later recovered and sent for post-mortem. 

The cause of the loss of control is yet to be confirmed, but preliminary reports suggest overspeeding could be a factor.

Authorities are investigating the incident for further details, said sources. Traffic on the bypass was briefly disrupted following the mishap.
