Youth shot at during group clash in Balasore

Balasore: A youth was shot at during a group clash that erupted at Gaushalapada under Sahadevkhunta police limits in Balasore district late Tuesday night.

The injured who received bullet injuries on his left foot was admitted to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH).

According to reports, two groups in the village were in disagreement over some issue during past few days. The situation had turned worse after a scuffle ensued between them last night.

On being informed, the police rushed to the spot and started investigation. Though the exact reason behind the group clash is yet to be ascertained, it is believed to be a fallout of past enmity.
