Youth on picnic drowns in Debajharan waterfall

Sambalpur: A youth, who was on a picnic, drowned in Debjharan waterfall under Jujumura police limits of Sambalpur today. The deceased has been identified as Amarendra Kumar Yadav, an employee of Aditya Alumina company.

As per police sources, Yadav, a resident of Bihar, had gone to the spot with his colleagues when the mishap occurred. After receiving information about the incident, officials of the Fire Services department reached the spot and recovered the body which was later sent to Burla hospital for post mortem.

"The deceased had gone to the spot along with his colleagues when the mishap occurred. We have sent the body to Burla medical for autopsy," said in-charge of Jujumura Police Station, Banashree Routray.
