Youth murdered in public view in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A youth was murdered today in broad daylight by an unidentified miscreant in front of a liquor shop in Palasuni area of Bhubaneswar.

The victim has been identified as Dhobi, who was attacked with a billhook. Dhobi succumbed to injuries on the spot, sources said.

According to sources, several cases are pending against Dhobi in various police stations. It is being suspected that Dhobi has been murdered over some past enmity.

While the attacker is absconding, a special squad has been formed to nab him, informed police sources.
