Youth found hanging in Gurudwara in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Mystery shrouds the death of a youth who was found hanging from the ceiling of a room inside a Gurudwara at Kharabela Nagar in Bhubaneswar on Thursday.

As per reports, the deceased youth, Subash Nayak of Champagarh area in Nayagarh district, had been working in the Gurudwara for the past one year. A security guard of the Gurudwara first spotted Subash’s body hanging from the ceiling of a room yesterday and immediately informed police about the incident.

Kharabela Nagar police rushed to the spot and initiated an investigation after recovering Subash’s body.

While it is being suspected that Subash has committed suicide, his family members on the other hand believe there is something fishy behind his sudden death.

Subash’s father, Dusashan Nayak who also works at the Gurudwara said, "He (Subash) comes to duty at 8 am while I work for 4 hours, from 4 am till 8 am. I leave Gurudwara as soon as he comes. He stays till 8 pm and looks after all the work there."

Police officials are yet to comment on the alleged murder.
