Woman, Son Crushed To Death By Speeding Truck In Sambalpur

Sambalpur: In a tragic incident, a woman and her three-year-old son died after being run over by a speeding truck near Padiabahal area on Sambalpur-Deogarh road on Tuesday.

The identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained.

According to sources, the accident took place when the duo was walking on the road. A truck which was on its way to Deogarh from Sambalpur hit them causing their death on the spot.

The driver of the truck has fled the spot, sources added.

Being informed about the incident Sadar Police rushed to the spot and started an investigation into the matter.
