Woman, Minor Daughter Found Dead In Sambalpur, Murder Suspected

Sambalpur: A woman and her 14-year-old daughter were found dead under mysterious circumstances in their house at Kisinda village in Sambalpur district on Thursday.

The deceased have been identified as Sujata Patel and her daughter Utkalika Patel.

As per reports, Sujata's husband, Kishore Patel and their elder daughter were away from home for three days to attend a marriage party. When Kishore and his elder daughter returned to the village today, they found the mother-daughter duo dead inside their home.

The police reached the spot following a call by Patel and initiated a probe into the deaths.

Though the actual reason behind the deaths is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that the mother-daughter duo might have been murdered.
