Woman claiming to be wife of Jatra actor Daitari Panda meets SP

Balasore: Latarani Panda, who is claiming to be the wife of Jatra actor Daitari Panda, met Balasore SP today alleging that she is yet to get justice as police have not yet taken any action against Panda even after 15 days have passed since she filed a complaint.

She had registered a case in this connection with Simulia Police. Latarani, who is a mother of two, has claimed that she is the wife of Panda.

"There is no conspiracy behind my allegations. It hurt me when Panda told he didn't know me or my son. And so, I protested and has taken the help of law," said Latarani.

"The lady met me with her grievance. A case is already registered at Simulia Police Station based on her complaint and investigation is on," said SP Jugal Kishore.

Speaking on the allegations, Panda had earlier said, “There is no truth in the claims made by the woman. All claims are false. It seems the handiwork of a few narrow-minded people who want to drag me into conspiracy.”
