Will Not Accept Barsha Priyadarshini In This Or Any Birth: MP Anubhav Mohanty

Bhubaneswar: BJD MP from Kendrapara Anubhav Mohanty, who finds himself in trouble after his wife and Ollywood actress Barsha Priyadarshini moved court alleging domestic violence against him, today clarified that he and his family would never accept Barsha.

While lashing it out at a member of human rights activist for allegedly backstabbing him, Anubhav took to twitter and wrote, "I and my mother had very clearly said that neither in this birth nor in any births we would accept someone who did her best to kill me as well as my parents. Madam Gitashree Das (so called HRC Representative) is deeply connected with Varsha and her family."

It is worth mentioning that a team led by Chairperson of the International Human Rights Foundation (Odisha chapter), Gitashree Das, had met both Anubhav and Barsha at their Nandi Sahi residence in Cuttack to help them resolve their differences. Later, speaking to the media, Gitashree reportedly said that the couple wants to live together.

However, Anubhav said, "Never expected that the so called respected human rights would cheat me and my parents this badly when both my parents are critically ill. I had co-operated in everything. They had asked me not to speak before media as they too won’t speak. But they did & that too all lies."

He further wrote, "We were asked not to speak to any media. They said they too won’t speak to media but She backstabbed us and confronted media saying all lies immediately after they left home yesterday. I too immediately tried to contact them after that but they didn’t respond."

Meanwhile, Gitashree alleged that the parliamentarian had promised them to meet and cooperate in the matter but he didn't turn up when the team on Friday visited the couple's Nandi Sahi residence. She said that the rights activists have not told anything to the media except that the Anubhav-Bharsha wanted to stay together.
