Weather alert: Thunderstorm warning issued for 4 Odisha districts

Bhubaneswar: Amid sweltering heat sweeping across Odisha, the weather department in the State today issued thunderstorm and rainfall alert for four districts.

As per a release by the Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar, moderate thunderstorm/lightning with light rainfall is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada and Gajapati between 12.30 and 3.30 PM today.

During the time, gusty wind speed reaching 30 to 40 kmph is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts.
