Weather alert: Thunderstorm, lightning warning issued for 8 districts

Bhubaneswar: The meteorology department issued thunderstorm, lightning and rainfall alert for eight districts of the State today.

In its latest release, the Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar said , “Moderate thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rainfall are likely to occur at some places over districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Cuttack and Jajpur between 8 AM and 11 AM.”

Residents in these districts have been cautioned to stay alert during the thunderstorm activity.
