Weather Alert: Thunderstorm & lightning alert issued for 14 Odisha districts

Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) today issued moderate thunderstorm alert and lightning alert for 14 districts in Odisha.

As per the latest forecast, moderate thunderstorm and lightning with rainfall is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nabarangpur, Koraput, Angul, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundergarh and Kalahandi between 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM today.

Similarly, warning has also been issued for thunderstorm accompanied with gusty wind reaching a speed of 30 to 40 kmph for one or two places in the districts of Nuapada, Bolangir, Kandhamal, Gajapati, Nayagarh, Ganjam and Rayagada between 6: 30 PM and 8: 30 PM today.
