Weather Alert: Thunderstorm and lightning alert for 5 Odisha districts

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) Bhubaneswar centre today issued thunderstorm alert for five districts in Odisha.

As per the latest bulletin, moderate thunderstorm and lightning is likely to occur at one or two places in Keonjhar, Jajpur, Mayurbhanj, Bhadrak and Balasore between 4:45 pm and 7:45 pm today.

The people in these districts have been asked to remain alert as gusty wind reaching a speed 30 to 40 kmph will also prevail during the thunderstorm.
