Bhubaneswar: After reeling under intense heat wave condition, people can expect a marginal drop in temperature as Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar today issued thunderstorm alert for five districts.

As per the latest weather bulletin, moderate thunderstorm and lightning alert has been issued for Rayagada, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Ganjam and Nayagarh. The warning has been issued for one or two places in these districts till 7 PM today.

People in the five districts have been advised to stay indoors as winds gusting up to 30 to 40 kmph is also likely to prevail during the thunderstorm.
