Bhubaneswar: Several parts in coastal Odisha will experience heavy rainfall in the next 24 hours.

As per the latest forecast of the Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar, a cyclonic circulation is active over northwest Bay of Bengal. Under its impact, coastal areas including Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Khurda, Ganjam, Kendrapara and Balasore will experience heavy rainfall.

The monsoon flow now appears to have strengthened as another cyclonic circulation is also active over Bangladesh and adjoining West Bengal along with a low pressure system over Uttar Pradesh.

There are chances of gradual weakening of monsoon flow which will regain its track after a couple of days, said Bhubaneswar Met Office Director, HR Biswas.
