Burla: The Registrar of the Veer Surendra Sai University Of Technology (VSSUT) in Burla has issued a notice regarding closure of the university for a period of three days starting today.

The varsity will remain closed on Monday (October 12) along with the pre-announced holidays on Saturday and Sunday (today and tomorrow). The consecutive three days lockdown of the university will facilitate the process of sanitisation of the university premises in the wake of Covid-19 situation.

However, classes will be conducted in online mode. "All the faculty members are requested to have their assigned classes from home to strictly adhere to the academic calendar," the authorities clarified.
