Bhubaneswar: Palpable tension prevailed in Raghunathnagar area of Bhubaneswar following a group clash in which bombs were hurled and several police personnel were also injured.

According to sources, bombs were hurled at a few houses following which one house was partially destroyed. The intensity of the bomb was so strong that two motorcycles were gutted, sources said.

While the miscreants fled the spot, locals ransacked a PCR van, hurled stones at cops and staged a road blockade.

As many as four police personnel including the Inspector-in-charge of Khandagiri Police Station were injured during the incident.

Meanwhile, police have conducted flag march in the area.
