Video Of Cops Dancing Inside Police Station In Odisha Goes Viral; Watch

Jajpur: A video of police personnel in uniform including officers, constable and a lady home guard dancing to the tunes of modern songs inside a police station has gone viral on social media, causing much embarrassment to the police fraternity in Odisha.

The alleged incident took place at Panikoili police station, which is located in close proximity to the office of Jajpur Superintendent of Police (SP). On account of Holi and Dola Melana, police personnel performed duty at a Melana celebration in the locality and returned to the Police station, their face and uniform smeared in Holi colours.

Later, they collectively danced to the tunes of ‘Nagin’ song inside the police station. The Inspector-in-charge who was also a part of the group allegedly violated the official code of conduct and service rules. The video of the entire dance sequence was captured by an unidentified person who later posted on social media.

Significantly, the SP is said to be unaware of the incident though his office is located barely 20 metres away from the concerned police station.
