Jamshedpur/Bhubaneswar: She is the pride of Odisha and Jharkhand, feel family members and relatives of Anya Das who secured 60th rank in the 2018 civil services examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Anya Das, an Odisha-native and currently residing in Jamsedpur of Jharkhand, secured 60th rank in the 2018 examinations making her the topper among Odisha candidates. Anya is the daughter of Badal Bhuyan, who is working as an editor of an Odia magazine published from Jamsedpur.

"I am extremely happy with my performance in the examination and dedicate result to my parents, friends and relatives," said Anya.

The 60th rank holder of the Civil Service Examination also dedicated her success to God.

Elated over her success, Anya's relatives and friends have started calling her the pride of two states.

"Anya's result is much satisfying and I am glad to know that she has performed very well in the eastern zone," said Anya's proud father.

Her performance is a matter of pride, he further added.
