Koraput: They are identical and blessed with extra ordinary talent. Meet Upasana and Aradhana Sahoo, the twin sisters from Jeypore in Koraput district, who have carved a niche for themselves in the field of singing and dancing without any formal training.

Be it bhajans or slokas, the twin sisters always set stage of fire with their unique singing ability. Both Upasana and Aradhana are five years old and are class I students of Saraswati Sishu Mandir school at SharadaVihar.

Their singing ability is quite unique and their voice touches the soul. One just can’t stop listening to them, claim a neighbour. “Apart from our family and teachers, we mostly learn from YouTube and TV,” said Aradhana.

“We perform at school functions and at other places in the city. We love to sing and dance,” said Upasana.

Upasana and Aradhana’s father Bijay Sahoo is a government teacher and mother, a homemaker.

“My daughters got attracted to singing and dancing at school. We are happy that both of them are blessed with such talent,” said Minati Padhi, mother of the kids.

Local residents believe that the twin sisters can go a long way if they are encouraged and provided proper training.
