Bhubaneswar: In view of the Budget Session of Odisha Assembly beginning from today, the Commissionerate Police has restricted traffic movements on roads approaching the Assembly.

The curbs have been imposed in view of security concerns, police sources said. Restrictions will come into effect from today.

Vehicles coming from 120-battalion square will move via Power House square. Similarly, commuters coming from AG square to PMG will have to take a right turn from Jayadev Bhawan. The stretch between Raj Bhawan to MLA colony and Rabindra Mandap square has been restricted. Commuters have to move towards Sastri Nagar to reach their destination. However, Master Canteen-Lower PMG stretch is opened for the commuters. But, people using the road can't move towards Mahatma Gandhi Marg.

Likewise, commuters coming from Housing Board will not be allowed to move further from Keshari Talkies. They have to take a left turn from the Keahsari square to head towards their destination.
