Bhubaneswar: Odisha Tourism Minister Jyoti Prakash Panigrahi on Sunday said that all the tourist spots in the State will be thrown open to the public from the month of October.

Speaking to the media on the occasion of World Tourism Day, Panigrahi said, "We have already planned to open tourist spots in the State. Keeping in view the COVID-19 guidelines, we will take further decision."

Though Panigrahi didn't reveal the exact date of opening, he said that the tourist spots may be opened from the first week of October.

On reopening of temples across the State, Panigrahi said that the concerned temple administration and the Law Department will a decision in this regard.
