Thunderstorm, Rainfall Likely In 14 Odisha Districts

Bhubaneswar: The Weather department has predicted thunderstorm and rainfall alert for several districts of Odisha today.

As per the latest bulletin issued by the Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar, 14 districts of the State including Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Angul, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Sundergarh, Puri and Jharsuguda are likely to witness thunderstorm and lightning activities accompanied by spells of moderate rainfall.

The Met forecast has warned people of these districts to stay alert in view of the inclement weather till 10.30 AM.

Several parts of the State continue to recieve rainfall under the impact of a cyclonic circulation and the weatherman has predicted that the activities will continue today as well.
