Three Of A Family, Driver Killed After Car Hits Roadside Tree

Nayagarh: As many as four persons, including three of a family were killed after the car they were travelling in rammed into a roadside tree near Karada under Saranakul Police limits of Nayagarh district Friday late night.

The deceased have been identified as Chiranjib Sahoo, Aditya Sahoo, Madhusmita Sahoo- all members of a family and driver of the vehicle, Santosh Nayak.

As per reports, the family was returning to Nayagarh from Bhubaneswar when the driver of the vehicle allegedly dozed off and lost control over the vehicle that resulted in the fatal collision.

Though locals rushed to the spot after hearing the screams of the victims and rushed them to Nayagarh District Headquarters Hospital (DHH), doctors declared them brought dead.

Police reached the spot after receiving information to probe into the incident.
