Bhubaneswar: Even as people in some parts of the State got temporary relief from scorching heat following thunderstorm induced rains in the past few days, there will be a rise in maximum temperature in many parts of Odisha in the coming days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Friday.

As per IMD, the maximum temperature (day temperature) is likely to rise gradually by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius over the districts of interior Odisha in the next 3 to 4 days.

“The maximum temperature will rise by 2 to 4 degrees at many places over the districts of Coastal Odisha during next 24 hours,” said IMD in a release.
